Dantesco - Vocalist Passed Away
Vocalist of doom metal unit Dantesco from Puerto Rico, Eric "La Bestia" Morales, has passed away at the age 51. The cause of death: heart attack. Morales was part of the band from their formation in 2002.
Official post at Keep It True Festival Facebook page: "Today we mourn the death of the great Eric Morales ...La Bestia from Puerto Rico...Dantesco played KEEP IT TRUE Festival in 2006 at the warm up show in Dittigheim. Erico was one of the biggest KIT fans ever, so passionate and he alone was the king of Carribean Metal and the cause why there was even a scene at all. I remember him like it was yesterday, he was a force of nature, the nicest of guys you can imagine and a real fighter for our scene in so many years. He even got 2 KIT tattoos on his arms...Finally he finished the new Dantesco album and now this....what a great loss for all of us. He even still posted on my site yesterday and we wrote last week. It really breaks my heart. Farewell my friend...until we meet again."
