London-based prog black metal collective Code announce the departure of their long-time guitarist Andras, who was part of the band since 2008 and contributed his share on several studio album.

Statement from the band: "We are very sad to announce that Andras will no longer be playing guitar for Code. We are all still the very closest of friends but Andras is stepping away from playing guitar so will be unable to fill this role for us any more.

"Andras' history with the band dates all the way back to Resplendent Grotesque where he provided the divine solo at the the end of "I Hold Your Light". Ever since then he has been a fundamental member of the band and his god-like guitar abilities have elevated the musicianship of the band ever since.

"We are desperately sad that Andras won't be playing guitar with us any more, his dedication, wonderful nature and incredible talent will be sorely missed, but he will always be a member of the family and will be helping with direction and sounds in some form in the future without doubt."
