Progressive sludge/stoner outfit Forming The Void have confirmed that they will go on indefinite hiatus effective immediately. Their appearance at next week's Ripplefest Texas has been canceled.

Statement from the band as follows: "Well, folks, it's not how we had hoped things would go, but the balance of life and time constraints has led us to make the difficult decision to embark on an indefinite hiatus.
We want to express our gratitude to everyone that has supported the band over the years. We had some really great times making music and are thankful for those who enjoyed it.

"Regrettably, this means we will not be able to play RippleFest in Austin this year. Though we were hoping to make it happen, it doesn't appear to be in the cards."
