Belgian metallers Thurisaz have issued the following update:

"We regret to announce the departure of our bassplayer Lars Vereecke, due to reasons that will stay within the band. Lars has been around since the very beginning and together we've been through many highlights. We want to thank him for all the good times and laughter and wish him all the best in his future endeavours. A new bass player will be announced later. Thanx a lot to Jo Van Heghe from Oceans Of Sadness to fill in on the last gig, you did a great job!"

Thats too bad he had some pretty good walking lines which is what I like to hear in metal. I've loved these guys since Scent of a Dream!
