I noticed yesterday that now you cannot see which MS members are online until you sign in. It might be just me , but I like to see who is online before I sign in. What do the rest of you think ?

i think it is normal, you cant see who is online, unless you are logged in...phpBB forum has it same i think and it is good feature imo - why should anonymous user from anywhere know, if i am on-line or not? and btw i am practically permanently logged in, so i even dont have such a problem

yeh,l i am also logged in 24/7 so i dont need to know that... not that i would need to anyway  and i think its the way it should be IMO...

It seems that most people think differently to me - which is nothing unusual I don't know the reason for the change - maybe saving space on the front page ? If that is the case - why not hide the Members birthdays instead - that is surely more irrelevant than which members are online .

I support the hiding, for privacy purposes, I'm designing a system with that same function and the client requested me to not show the members online to guests. I think I could be good to choose in the settings whether you want to appear on the members online tab, just like appearing offline in Messenger.
