Carach Angren is perhaps one of the best Symphonic Black Metal bands I have heard in a long while, especially that being a genre with many sell-out and compromising artists. Carach Angren's music also breaks one of the Black Metal stereotypes; their music isn't about satan and stuff like that, the theme of the band is the supernatural (ghosts, hauntings, etc). In my opinion, a really good concept for the genre. Their latest album Lammendam blew me away. It was refreshing to see a band be this brutal and symphonic, cause we all know some symphonic black metal can get really cheesey. I would encourage anyone who is a fan of some good extreme metal to check out Carach Angren.

I know this band, realy good band, I wold not say best but best from BeNeLux countries for shore there no better such type bands in belgium, Luxemburg and Nederlands, also havnt hear better at Danmark, realy good band, us i remeber correct band alove download demo's from band home page at old days, I didnt done it now its half year when 'downloads are temporaly down because of ...''someting to do whit new website
So from myspace songs I get band is good an dinteresting, but its disapointmentw hen I didnt download demo's, thought I can do it tommorow, and when I tryd it was down and still are down

Well, although they are enjoyable I just don't think of them as something special. Had they recorded their album 8 years ago then it would have been special. Live they are also enjoyable a good openign band for bigger and better bands I would say.

Listening to "Lammendam" right now, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff. They're kind of like a catchier version of Limbonic Art.

I have their album, "Lammendam". Very interesting melodic/symphonic BM band, imo.

I dont find nothing special or new in Carach Angren's stuff !! typical symphonic black !! they are not bad but either not good !! i dont give em a shot really !! there is many more sympho black bands that worth to lisen than those !! ive been specialised in sympho black shit since 2002 !! for me carach angren just a copy !! sorry for there fans but thats just my small opinion !!
