^that. Generally needs to be more than a half hour for me though. Some EP's can be really good but usually leave me wanting more, no matter how good they are.

Favourite length? What does it matter? If an album has good songs, it can be as long as it gets. I love Slayer's Reign in Blood (28 minutes) and I love Bong's Beyond Ancient space (79 minutes). Should I like any of them more or less due to length?

Now loving:
Anaal Nathrakh - In Coelo Quies, Tout Finis Ici Bas
Cradle of Filth - Pallid Reflection
Enslaved - Materal/Forsaken
Quo Vadis - Absolution
Indesinence - Fade (Further Beyond)

I meant even if it works well as an EP I'd still want more. The good EP's I've heard make me wish they were LP's instead. For sure if they're bad EP's I wouldn't hope for anything more.

I suppose it also depends on the style/genre as well. Many people might not be eager to sit through an hour long album of thrash, which is typically shorter. Or a doom lover might not be too happy about a really short album.

About 40 minutes is my pick, with slayer being the biggest exception.

Dont give a rats ass about length of an album...if length of every song fits perfectly to it, its all fine to me...

I prefer shorter albums, and I love Ep's. I get bored listening to Esoteric-esque albums.
That being said if it's good for the whole album, I'll like it.
20-40 minutes is my bubble.

Depends way too much on the style of music. I generally love short and to the point albums just as much as looooong albums. So I'd say my favorite niche is in the 25-35 and 55-65 min mark.
But as long as the band justifies the length... I just couldn't care less.

The length isn't really important as long as the music is good. Judging by the albums I love, it is usually around 50/60 minutes though. EPs can be just as good and so can 30-minute albums. If it doesn't go overboard, even double albums are enjoyable.

IMO depends on the genre and even lyrical concept. Concept records are typically longer, and for the chance for the story to be understood the length of the music will be longer generally. As long as the music is good of course lol.
With genres, I think the best Death/thrash/power metal records are under the 50 minute mark, with a few exceptions.
With black/doom my personal favs have been generally between 55-70min running time.
But it should be quality over quantity anyday
