Couldn't find a Journey topic...I really like this rock band, they started in 1973 and have been releasing great albums since then, now they're having a new album "Eclipse". Some of my favorite songs are: Separate ways, Open arms, Who's crying now, Send her my love or Don't stop believin'.

I still sing all their big-name pop singles in the shower to this day. "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" is one of my all-time favorite songs.

Epic intro is epic. I wake up to that shit with a rageboner.

Their 1988 compilation (Greatest Hits) was the soundtrack to my childhood.

Separate Ways, Who's Cryin' Now, Open Arms, Wheel in the Sky... fucking classics.

I can sing along to them all from beginning to end to this day.

"Love will survive somehow, some way..." pfff Who's crying now has one of my favorite lyrics...

I remember after my first serious break-up (well, serious at the time), I played that song at least 100 times straight and didn't leave my room.

Good times.

They had an amazing era in the escape album...So emotional band with Steve Perry on the helm, nowadays the band doesn't has the same feeling or talent at all. Still an impressive and one of the most influential bands in the soft/hard rock style.

One of my guilty pleasures. Steve Perry had the best voice in music. Period.

That award goes to Glenn Hughes. Period. Followed by Jeff Scott Soto

Personally I'd take Perry over Hughes or Scott Soto.

And no mention of Freddy Mercury?

Now, I'm not saying I'm a Journey fan. What I am saying, is that if I ever find myself on the Karaoke stage, I will only karaoke a Journey song. No other musical artist will do.

I guess this comes down to personal taste again Marcel, but Steve Perry's voice is the best I have ever heard...next is Geoff Tate...then maybe Lou Gramm and Aretha Franklin

what? Geoff Tate that high? He was good, don't get me wrong but imo not even allowed to tie the shoelaces of Hughes, Gramm, Perry, Soto.
And he is totally horrendous nowadays, whereas the others are still great and Hughes somehow even seems to get better with the years.

No no, don't get me wrong. Queensryche is a shell of their former selves including the singer. I thought we were talking ALL-TIME, at any time. Geoff Tate on Empire is phenomenal or as we say in America...No one could hold his jock
