I'm not exactly complaining. Bugs like these can have surprising consequences if they're not reported

This is very true. I also get updates about pending band edits which is quite annoying, especially since I'm the one who checks most of them and if someone does an edit wrong I freak out initially wondering what idiot accepted the edit.  But then I realize it's still pending and I calm down and reject it; has happened to me 3x already.

Oh I bet. I had one the other day about Machine Head, the user was pissed that MH won the Thrash category so he added to the top of their Bio that (in a nutshell) "they were not thrash bcuz MA said so and that they didnt deserve to win thrash category", I flipped the fuck out trying to figure out who the fuck thought that was an acceptable change until I realized it was still pending...
