the football they play is totally NOT boring and not even that slow. It is the hardest sort of football a team can play. What's next goign for over 80% possession at the next WC?

A big thank you to Italy for defeating Germany and thus saving us from getting raped like that

Ye, I know, I actually think exactly the same thing ! My comment was a little irony adressed to all those that doubt of their quality (see german and italian newspapers.. they gonna have to eat their words ).

So spain did it agan 3 time sin row , Spain is bets football team in world, this is not real madrid who buy , but this si spanish players who grow up in home land and get there whit playing, spain won last Ec in Austria/Suisse 2008, last World Cup in South Africa 2010, this EC in Poland/Ukraien 2012, will thay win next World Cup in Brazil 2014 and same next Euro 2016 in France?

Maybe Italy aftere 2008 EC Italya lso lost to Spain, and won a WC, why not in next one

Yeah and if you look generally conceading only one single goal (not including penalties against Portugal) on the whole tournament is quite stunning...of course the whole defence / team helped also and did a great job in this case, but still.

I'm wondering if this could be the record on the EC...will check this out.

Well Xavi could be replaced to an extent by Fabregas. They didnt even need Villa or Puyol, Senna got replaced by Alonso whos way better anyway, the left back got replaced by Alba whos way better.

I was worried about the climate in Brazil effecting whatever team we send over there, either blistering heat or oceans of rain, but remembered its winter over there at world cup time, so should suit european sides.

Yea, it will be annoying. Before this tourney Spain started actually losing a few friendlies so hopefully by the next WC more teams will be able to play against them.

I think many were late at work today in here XD Just watched the last 20 min. and Italy was totally out of the game :S

Real madrid/barselona 4 - serie A 0...im glad i didnt watch it...otherwise my tv would be on the street now....

Spain played great football, I was amazed. What a great (one sided) match

I was dead tired after a bike trip over the weekend, about 750km to the hills and back. But I was really happy that I managed to sit up and watch the game. It was awesome, sorta one sided, but Spain were just so brutal
I love watching Spain play actually, I love how they pass the ball, I don't get why people say its boring. Try holding the ball for that long and making so many perfect passes. If they win the next WC it will be awesome But then they should just change the whole team, bring in a fresh new young squad and train them for the 2020 EC & 2022WC

750 kms in 2 days by car is totally not too much.

On holiday in South Africa I drove 4,500 kms in 20 days total holiday, that included days of not driving as well.

we drove 900km from Stkhl till Luleå in one day
Umeå-Arlanda from 15:00 - 20:32 ( we speed up we need takje out one week temporaly trevel pasport since orginal has been lost)
Helsinki 09:00 - 23:00 Luleå, so 2 days 800lm is possible
