People still care about Vader? I used to love them to death, but they have been the most boring band ever for the past like 5+ years. Bleh.

I remember this previously had the generic title "Welcome To Hell" whereas this title is pretty good. The Nuclearblast website said that the translation is "For You (And Only You) Fire".

I think it's more in the vein of "To the fire". Like, as an order.

And I say: Why the hell not? I don't care... In fact, it'd be cool if they sang in polish every once in a while. I like when bands sing in their own language instead of the usual english.

It's latin for "you and fire".

It means For you and the fire, it is Latin.

Classic Vader, but nothing impressive.

Streaming here. Pretty solid record. Nothing new, but a pretty good listen nonetheless!

After listening to some samples of the album i got the feeling that it's really average and the band repeats itself. reading all those comments of how pleasing it is makes me wonder if i should change my expectations and give it a try...

I definitely agree with you. I love everything Vader have released in the last ten years, but this album was really boring. "Light Reaper" is a sweet track, but apart from that I think everything sounds really mediocre.

A boring song or two from Vader is above most bands, the whole thing crushes on my 5.1 system. I hope people aren't judging this listening to it on earbuds or laptops. They are one of the top metal bands around and this is an astonishing work from them.

Since when do folk bands entitle their stuff in Latin? Surely if anything this album title then is more black metal than anything else.

Yeah it's OK. I listened to it, but I actually forgot what was on at some point, not the best sign.

Same old shit, actually not as memorable as the last album.

More of the same. It sounds good but i dont think its going to get prolonged playtime from me!!

Haven't heard this one yet, but I thought Welcome to the Morbid Reich was their best by far, really far. If this album is just aping the last one, I'd enjoy it. Most bands start strong and fade as they release more and more albums, Vader has done the opposite, their early stuff bores me to sleep..Litany was the first one that sparked my interest, although ridiculously over-rated..Morbid Reich was perfect.

Yep. Vader. Crushing sound. Excellent performances and production. Drums sounds amazing. Not anything overly innovative but some of those riffs and solos are going to stick.

It means "for you and fire" in Latin. It was used centuries ago to indacate that the reader of a message is supposed to burn it after reading.
