Devin Townsend needs no introduction. The man is known far and wide and his antics on stage are also known. However, in reality he's a really down to earth guy and a pleasant person to talk to. It is kind of unfortunate that the allocated 20 minutes of interview time was to be shared between four different medias. Too little time, too many questions.
Anyway, it so happened that I got to do the first part of the interview, with girl for Bravewords taking over later on. With the kind permission of Arto Mäenpää from KaaosTV, I'm posting the video footage of the interview here on Metal Storm. Thanks to everybody involved! Now, sit back and let Devin do the talking.
Recorded on 30.03.2011 at Cable Factory, Helsinki, Finland.

I shoot people.
Sometimes, I also write about it.

I love his music... he always has a way for his music to relate to the listener.
Saw Devin Townsend last year and CANNOT wait to see him again. |

| What a bad ass. Talented, intelligent, but unyieldingly down-to-earth. He knows exactly what music-making is all about. |

This is very interesting. Finally watched it.
I could listen to him all day. |

| Devin's hella real, good to see there is a fully coherent, articulate dude behind the maniacal screams in his music. |
