The Current Decade (2010-2019) in order of preference. This is separate from my year-lists, which strive to include as many albums from the year as possible regardless of quality. Only albums I deem worthy of a favorites list by personal taste will make it. I'd say Axioma Ethica Odini has a major step up on anything beneath it this decade; it's the only truly perfect album so far in my eyes. Last overhauled: May 13th. Now it's a bit tighter.

I don't have this in any special order. Seems like 2011"s flavor for metal has been Death, Prog and Thrash.and that's good with me.I feel in most part the up and coming bands have out did their idols,that's a good thing!!!!

What a wonderful year, I have to say! This year has seen me expand my tastes like never before. Discovered so many great new acts, while many metal stalwarts delivered the goods as expected. A truly memorable year, and one that I will forever cherish, as far as me being an avid music enthusiast is concerned.
