Finnish hard rockers Viikate are all set to release their 15th long player, Hiljainen, on November 1st 2024. To promote the new music, the band also disclose a touring plan in their homeland.

Viikate will return with a new studio album, Askel, on March 31st, 2023 (Ranka Recordings). Coinciding with new album announcement, the Finns also present the first streaming single - ''Älä Pelkää Pimeää''. To promote new music effort, Viikate will embark on Finnish & Estonian tour.

Viikate, a heavy metal collective from Finland, confirmed that their original drummer Simeoni "Simo" Viikate has been forced to step down due to health problems. He is replaced by Miitri Aaltonen, who will already be involved in the band's upcoming fourteenth studio album recordings.
