Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant Thursday at the California home of Gene Simmons, but the KISS bassist/vocalist and his family are not considered suspects. The rocker's publicist said the police visit was connected with a crime that may have occurred on the property last year while Simmons was away touring with KISS.

KISS has collaborated with the Japanese pop group Momoiro Clover Z on a new single, to be released on January 28th. The track "Yumeno Ukiyo Ni Saitemina" was composed by KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley and Greg Collins, with lyrics written by Yuho Iwasato. Momoiro Clover Z performs the song, with KISS providing background vocals and instruments. It will be released in two versions, "Momoclo Edition" and "Kiss Edition", via iTunes in 120 countries. Legendary rockers KISS continue to celebrate their 40th anniversary with the release of a deluxe two-CD version of their 1977 platinum-plus album, Love Gun, which is coming out on October 27th, 2014 on Universal Music Enterprises (UMe). The band's sixth studio recording Love Gun was the first album to feature lead vocal performances from all four original band members, and has since gone on to sell more than four million copies.
