Melvins are heading to Europe this summer for the 'Stop Your Whining Tour.' Scheduled to begin in Bristol, UK on July 17th the 18-date trek will conclude on August 18th in Dublin, Ireland. Redd Kross will be also performing on this tour.

Doom/sludge metal pioneers Melvins are releasing a new album, titled Tarantula Heart, on April 19th via Ipecac Recordings. This five-song album, reportedly 39 minutes long, includes contributions by current Ministry and former Soulfly drummer Roy Mayorga, and a Jesse Nieminen-directed music video for the album's lead single "Working The Ditch" which can be streamed below.

Sludge metal legends the Melvins put out two albums last year, Working With God and Five Legged Dog, but they don't seem to be slowing down too soon as drummer Dale Crover recently told WV Music that a new full-length record is in the works and will be released either later this year or next year. He also said that the record will include at least one guest appearance, from Dylan Carlson of Earth.

Clocking in at 2 1/2 hours, it is spanning the band's career, including covers of songs by the bands such as The Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper, Redd Kross and more. The group is releasing Pinkus Abortion Technician on April 20th via Ipecac Recordings, featuring both ongoing bass player Steven McDonald (Redd Kross, OFF!) and Butthole Surfers Jeff Pinkus on bass. For now, you can listen to "Stop Moving To Florida" below which is a medley of the James Gang's "Stop" and Butthole Surfers' "Moving To Florida." The band also covers the Beatles' "I Want To Hold Your Hand" and Butthole Surfers' "Graveyard" on the eight-song release.
