Swedish symphonic metallers Therion have announced an European tour for September and October to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Furthermore, the band will release a new studio album, yet untitled, in September as well, shortly before the tour starts.

Tour dates announced so far:

September 28 - Eindhoven, Netherlands - Effenaar
September 29 - Groningen, Netherlands - Oosterpoort
September 30 - Antwerp, Belgium - Hof ter Loo
October 1 - Paris, France - Bataclan
October 4 - Madrid, Spain - Heineken
October 5 - Barcelona, Spain - Razzmatazz 2
October 6 - Bilbao, Spain - Rock Star
October 7 - Toulouse, France - Bikini
October 9 - Lyon, France - Transbordeur
October 10 - Pratteln, Switzerland - Z7

Not too excited for the new album, but I hope they get their asses over my country again later.

Nice thing about them is that they play only 2-3 songs from their latest album and the rest is a journey through their whole career. I absolutely loved their latest show, not to mention the performance is excellent.

The Kamelot tour also "ignores" us...
Our Prime Minister is encouraging people to leave the country... here's another reason why i'm willing to move out!

True, but at least we had Kamelot on Vagos... Therion, their last time here was in 1998. They are one of my favorite bands and I just have no chance to see them live in Portugal... :/ I'm thinking to travel somewhere for this tour. NO HOPE at all to see them here...
