Borknagar - New Album Update, Recordings Begin
Norwegian melodic black metallers Borknagar have been busy writing and with the pre-production for the follow up of Urd this year and have released an update regarding the process. Earlier this month, the band announced that they would begin tracking drums for the new album on October 16th. So, now you can start thinking about what the band will do next. The recordings have begun.
The band issued a brief statement: "Oh yeah, finally back in studio. Time to fire up the engine again... Good times!"

Never really liked any of their work before Urd so I'm hoping they'll build off that album or move in a completely unexpected direction. Either would be good.
