Here's some good news for Oakenshield fans, because the band will perform live for the very first time. The folk metallers led by Ben Corkhill have also released Lyke Wake Dirge today. Recorded in 2010 and unreleased since, it finally sees the light of day on digital pay-as-you-feel download on Bandcamp. This mini-release comprises two traditional arrangements and a cover version.

Oakenshield is resurrected, and the live line up for the HRH Vikings event on 1st December is as follows:

This will be the first live performance in Oakenshield's history, but it will not be the last.
