Manilla Road - Mark Shelton Special Tribute Show Announced

To remember the fallen brother Mark Shelton, who recently passed away aged 60 after a heart attack, American metallers Manilla Road will play a special gig to honor him.

The band explains: "We are going to gather as planned to celebrate the birthday of our beloved Godfather of Epic Metal on December 1st, 2018 at Barlecorn's Wichita, Kansas in honor of what would have been his 61st birthday. This is the last show he asked us to book before his passing and we are going to see it done. This is going to be a fun time and celebration of so many great years and a toast to our hero Mark Shelton. This is a benefit show, all proceeds from the door will go to Mark's estate to help out his family. Featuring former Manilla Road members Josh Castillo and Cory Christner, Cu Cui will be playing some select Manilla tunes as well. Also Manilla Road's bass player Phil Ross will open the show with his band Cricket Wand. Join us, Cu Cui, The Tits, Rabbits 666 and Cricket Wand and raise your horns in honor of the mighty Shark! $5 cover, 9pm start time."
