Still waiting for a new Edguy record. It's weird how Edguy are now the side project.

Well, it is, at least for the past 10 years. And based on what Sammet's said in a recent interview I wouldn't expect anything new from Edguy in the near future.

I've been getting very little enjoyment from these last few releases. Sammet should consider some time off to find new inspiration perhaps or just retire this project all together. It's sounding so stale and forced, and his poor voice doesn't sound like it has any spark in it either.

And I think the last two albums are fine and looking forward to hear the new stuff

I have 0 hope for this and still can't understand why people like post-2010 stuff so much. Basically it's The Scarecrow all over again every time only way worse.

Your opinion. For myself this project is just getting better and better. But it's so obvious that the people that don't find a 100% double drum songs will find those albums "boring"

This is as off as it can be, stuff like Shelter from the Rain or Wastelands was always garbage in my books.

I´ll be preparing for some eargasms.

I think this guy is one of the best out there, maybe he is not doing the kind of metal or rock that all the people like but it is the kind of music that i do like, since the MO albums to Moonglow every song has been great with some exceptions obviously. Saying that Tobi´s music is not original is having the head inside of the ass.

And if you are lookin´ for Edguy go look some where else, i too hope that Edguy comes back some day but for now let´s enjoy this man´s genius... Avantasia mode on bitches.

Usually I would go to Wolfsburg and Sascha Paeth to record for the Avantasia project, but because of the on and off pandemic restrictions, we need to work closer to home.
