Disentomb - Launch New Standalone Single Online
Brutal death metal force from Australia, Disentomb, reveal a brand new standalone single "Broken Under Your Symbol Of Atonement". It's the first new music heard from the band since 2019's The Decaying Light album.
Vocalist Jord James on the single: "Our new single "Broken Under Your Symbol Of Atonement" is our most accomplished work to date, expanding on the dissonant sounds we released on The Decaying Light (2019) and Misery (2014).
"Since forming in 2009 we have had the goal of writing music we want to hear, which has developed over the years into a distinctive style of atmospheric and bleakened Brutal Death Metal and that can certainly be heard on this new single.
"Themes of nihilism, Lovecraftianesque lore and antitheism has always enmeshed in Disentomb's lyrics and the words behind 'Broken Under Your Symbol of Atonement' have never felt more fitting than in 2021."

Love this single. I think the previous releases are marginally above-average examples of the genre, but this is a step up. More atmospheric. Great work lads, I hope a new album is in the works.
