Helheim - Back With New Album Announcement
Experienced viking black metal collective Helheim will return on October 29th 2021 with a brand new studio album, titled WoduridaR. It was recorded by Vulture Industries' Bjørnar E. Nilsen at Bergen's Conclave & Earshot Studio and will be set free through Dark Essence Records on CD, Limited Edition LP and digital formats. As a taster of what to expect from the new outing, check out a Costin Chioreanu-directed video clip for the title track.

For once, the pre-release marketing gets it right: "The album is a result of a fusion between their former releases "LandawarijaR" and "Rignir", and they've returned to the aggression one could hear on "LandawarijaR". However, as "Rignir" presented something new and exciting that the band enjoyed, a lot of the atmospheres, focus of melodies and the use of clean vocals is also a big part of the new album." If this track is representative, then it really is a synthesis of those two albums, and I'm on board for that.
