Netherbird - Part Ways With Drummer Fredrik Andersson
Swedish melodic black metal bringers Netherbird announced that they and drummer Fredrik Andersson have gone separate ways. Fredrik was in the band since 2016.
The band explains: "As we now finally start to see the light in the tunnel and get ready to face the world post-covid, we will also let you know that there has been some changes in Netherbird: we have parted ways with drummer Fredrik Andersson. We have had very productive years together and his drumming make both the albums we recorded together shine.
"Netherbird wants to publicly thank Fredrik for these years and we wish him all the best with his other bands Kvaen, Vananidr and Myronath and his future endeavors since we know he will do great things in years to come. We will now walk diffent paths but rest assured the respect is mutual. Keep the underground spirit burning brother!"
Here are some words from Fredrik: "I would like to thank Netherbird for these years. It’s been a privilege to play with some really amazing musicians and creative minds, but above all, to meet and get to know absolutely fantastic people that I will call my friends and brothers for life. I wish the band all the very best and look forward to what’s to come next!"
