Katharos XIII - Unveil New Song 'Neurastenia'
Romania's Katharos XIII are premiering a Alexandru Das-directed official video for the newly released single, "Neurastenia". The latter will appear on the group's next full length instalment, which was recorded in DSP Studio by Attila Lukinich and Ella Jebelean (drums recorded in Soundcreation Studio by Gabriel Both) and mixed/mastered by Gabriel Both. Additional details coming soon.
Katharos XIII's statement as follows: "Neurastenia" was filmed and directed by Alexandru Das and represents only a frame of a certain piece of emotion transmitted to us in a universal frequency by a group of dead cosmonauts from the future.
"They still float through the cosmos and send signals with life experiences, hopes, tragedies as a part of a chthonian collective conscience. In this case the first transmission - Neurastenia - is about seclusion, alienation, spleen feelings and the difficulty of finding a daily reason for existence.
"The new album will encapsulate six different dreams delivered from the times when the itinerant cosmonauts had a telluric existence. We like the words of Kurt Vonnegut and the imagery of Andrei Tarkovski, so we tried to embed this in our aesthetics and in every word or expression to resonate with our own personal philosophy.
"More details about the concept, recording process and the release date of the full-length will follow in the near future."

Even I did listen to jazz in my youth, now metal. I checked this due my walk trought MA Romanian bands, I lustened this few songs, I liked this. I checked this song out, I like it a lot.

Written by Bad English on 18.02.2022 at 08:23 Katharos XIII has plenty of connections to Negură Bunget. Mainman was a member. Vocalist guested on the past two albums. Even the dude who guested on theremin on the 2019 album also guested on a NB one.
