Death Angel - Update On Upcoming Album
In the latest episode of his 'Alive & Streaming' podcast, Death Angel guitarist Ted Aguilar confirmed that the band started working on new material for their follow-up to 2019's Humanicide just before their recently-wrapped up U.S. tour with Testament and Exodus, and will possibly resume working on the record before they head to Europe in the summer. As previously reported, the new Death Angel record is expected not to be released until 2023.
Ted Aguilar elaborated: "Let me just ramble off some stuff here: there is new music being worked on. There's some skeletons that have been floating around before the tour. We'll probably start continuing maybe if we have some time before Europe. Maybe we'll get together and work on some stuff, that's for sure but there's some new material floating around. Nothing set in stone yet, just some skeletons."
