Power metal masters DragonForce are very pleased to announce that they have signed a new contract with Napalm Records. Coinciding with the new label announcement, DragonForce have also confirmed a North American headline leg of their colossal world tour. This trek will include special guests Amaranthe and additional support from Nanowar Of Steel, as well as Edge Of Paradise. It will begin on October 20, 2023 in Mesa, AZ.


Frontman Herman Li on the signing:

"We are absolutely thrilled to join forces with Napalm Records, a true powerhouse in the metal music universe! This marks the beginning of an epic new chapter for DragonForce, and we're eager to see what our collaboration will bring to our fans around the world!"

Isn't it funny how I've gone from loving this band to not really giving a shit what they do now, just since they released their last album. Something new might have a few odd-fake-nostalgia points but I doubt it could be anything captivating.

Surprisingly, after the departure of the first vocalist, the group got worse and worse. It's surprising because the vocalist didn't write the songs. But in the updated DragonForce, it was the music, the songwriting, and not the vocals that became bad.
