German thrash metal legends Darkness have set Blood On Canvas as the title of their upcoming sixth studio album, which is currently being recorded. It is due for release in the spring of 2024 via Massacre Records and will be the band's first full-length album since 2018's First Class Violence. More details on Blood On Canvas are to surface soon.

From a press release: "Blood On Canvas is expected in spring 2024. Darkness are currently in the catacombs of the Rambado Recordings Studio and have announced a new album for spring 2024. After the successful release of their last full-length album First Class Violence in 2018, the band took time to work on 9 new tracks, which not only showcase the raw, unadulterated brutality of the Essen thrashers as usual, but also will impress with creative arrangements and complexity. Maybe the most complex album in the band's history, but definitely 100% Ruhrpott Thrash again!"
