I m probably older than you. I do not hate pop per se, I just would not want something like that from this band, given the great stuff he has produced in the past. Besides that Arjen has 2 million projects, he could release this under a relevant project in my opinion.
And honestly, what does age has to do with taste in music. I didn't know i had to ask you what music I should like

This is very much reminiscent of the mellower songs on Ayreon albums. I never cared for Arjen's ballads, but they were easier to sit through when they were part of an entertaining musical narrative. This is does nothing for me.
