Hellish War - Sign Deal With Pure Steel Records
Official press release
Hellish War keeps on conquering territory in the old world. On the eve of it's first European tour, the Brazilian old school classic metal band just signed a deal with the German record label Pure Steel Records. The contract will provide the release of the two albuns of the band, "Defender Of Metal" (2001) and "Heroes Of Tomorrow" (2008). Both will be reunited in a very special 2CD-pack and will include two bonus tracks. The "Defender Of Metal" album also got a new remastered version.
The albums will be released in the entire European territory on August, 28th.
"We are vey happy. There is no way to describe our satisfaction", says the guitar player Daniel Job. "Our first European tour was crowned with that contract with Pure Steel Records. With the support of a record label, we'll achieve even better results with this first tour. In 15 days we will land in Europe and our welcome gift will be this CD with our two albuns".
Baptized as "European First Assault Tour", the first Hellish War European tour will start on September, 04th in Worblaufen, Switzerland, and will include four different festivals appearances: 05/09 at Back To Rock in Switzerland, 12/09 at SwordBrothers Festival in Germany and 18/09 and 19/09 at Razorblade Festival, also in Germany, where the group will be the only attraction to play on the two days of the event.
Other dates of the "European First Assault Tour" are: 08/09 at The Frontline in Gent/Belgium; 09/09 at De Rots in Antwerp/Belgium, 13/09 at Die Halle in Frankfurt/Germany and 17/09 at Kanslös in Den Haag/The Netherlands.
Besides the contract with Pure Steel Records and the European tour, Hellish War also celebrates its inclusion on Reunation - A Tribute To Running Wild, official tribute to Running Wild. Hellish War is the only Brazilian band to appear on the album and already finished the recording of its version of "Return Of The Gods".
Hellish War was also highlighted on the August issue of the renowned German Heavy Magazine. The song "Destroyer" was included on the "Metal Crusade" compilation that comes with the magazine.
