The guy is Jasper Pääkkönen, a finnish actor. I think the new record will probably come out next year, the band hasn't spoken anything about it yet tough..

Nope) he is just an actor, BUT a beautiful one btw, here is a link to one interview, where the band talks about future movie and album (only a bit)

I was in Pori with my girlfriend (she's a Porilainen) while they were filming, and they were looking for metalheads to play secondary roles, too bad I was too shy (because I don't speak finnish) and I had just cut my hair. Vares rocked (the 1st one), lotsa killing and twists and so on !
