The Doge memes have reached Metal Storm.

Best death/blackish material I heard this year.

The main riff on the second track is craaaaazy The one after the chorus on Coronal Mass Ejacultion is just as good, groovy as fuck.

Production should also be mentioned, more bands could learn a thing or two...

What makes this so fucking great is excellent riffage all over every song. Never heard of these guys before!

By the way, the first track is called Coronal Mass Ejaculation.

Opening riff on the second track is everything in the universe, reminds me of the glorious moments from The Ruins of Beverast.

I doubt since both Bölzer members are from Switzerland and live there and Witchrist is from New Zealand where the band members live

...so we have two guys with the same nickname here (weird shit as it's quite specific).

According to MA it is the same guy, but I find it highly unlikely

Hmm, MA is not a 100% reliable source, as we all know. Other informations, unfortunately, I've not found. Well, I would have to wait for the next Witchrist album and see for yourself. I would like to localize other projects (if any) of this mysterious gentleman.

what does that have to do with a Swiss and New Zealand band? And neither are on Invictus. But it wouldn't surprise me if Darragh would know if it's the same guy.

Which is incorrect since Roadburn is about a month earlier. Unless they mean the frst time they'll be playin Maryland Deathfest.
Not sure if the band has ever played live, yet.

Well it's something they wrote, but I think they mean it's the first time Bölzer plays at their festival.

Though I enjoyed the first two tracks more then the final one, still it doesn't make the whole album any less pleasing. Some vocals sound like a howling wolf which is not bad at all

Now I get it. I could only find 3 songs. Duh!

Nothing more or less than very good. I certainly don't feel like I was misled in any way coming into this record, though, so I appreciate the accurate depiction of this original band. Thanks for the recommendation, guys.

Old school death brought out in a really amazing black-ish style. Very solid stuff. I would've preferred a full-length release after this to see how well these guys perform on a LP but it seems they have planned yet another EP for 2014. Still stoked to see that anyway.

Couldn't get enough of this at first and still think it's great, but there's something about the sound of the cymbals that's been driving me crazy for the past few spins. Don't know if it's my speakers/headphones or not, but they sound like sleigh-bells to me. Makes it sound all Santa-y

I don't think it's much OSDM... a certain vibe it has, but the BM influence gives it another flavor (so not surprised you don't appreciate it). Agree that the bridge on second song is a bit long, only downside for me. Boring drumming is the last thing I'd expect to say from this, one of the highlights for me (the cymbal work is awesome, and rythms don't necessarily follow the riffs the same way which gives them a lot of variety).
