If you want to hear a new song from Equilibrium, rejoice because the folk metallers just debuted "Karawane" online. This is the first song to be unveiled from the forthcoming new opus Erdentempel. Waste no time and enjoy "Karawane" right here below. Is it what you were expecting from Equilibrium?

According to the mastermind René Berthiaume, "the stomping song is about cohesion, conviction and hope. This somehow fits perfectly to us. I think you can tell by now already how versatile the album turned out, since the songs are full of surprises!"

Erdentempel drops on June 6th in Europe and June 10th in North America via Nuclear Blast Records. Equilibrium recently lost Sandra van Eldik and her brother Andreas Völkl, who left the band.

What everyone else said...

Plus: This is going on preorder. I'd pretty much bet money that this album will kick ass! I hope they tour North America.
Edit: after listening to it a few more times, i'm really struck by how cool these guys sound in the folky parts. They have a perfect mix of folk and metal and are really good at both.

I can't believe that's the same band that made Turis Fratyr... That song is too slow, repetitive, predictable, clichéd.
