If it's anything like Vetelgyus then I seriously can't wait.

Ohh man... where do I start on this album, this one is really, really awesome. This sounds just as good as Vetelgyus (if not better), which is great, and I felt they absolutely nailed their sound on that album. The difference is this is more progressive but they have pushed the boundaries even more, especially musically and in the guitar/keyboard solos. Some parts are as good as Stratovarius' golden era. Vetelgyus was probably more cohesive as a whole, but this album has much more of those epic moments/and more of the hair raising instrumentals. Imo Galneryus have done it again, it's a very near perfect release bar the production. You know an album KICKS ASS when you get goosebumps from hearing every individual track... it's been a while since that happened.

Wow, the most epic and the most progressive album ever made by Galneryus. There is a lot of new musical passages never heard before in their music.
Great job

I 100% agree with this being this being the best Power Metal album of 2015. Even though this came out really late in December, better late than never

This is a masterpiece and the best album released by Galneryus. I did not expect this considering Vetelgyus, the last album to come from Galneryus last year, was pretty forgettable. I believed I only listened to that album on launch all the way through once. With UNDER THE FORCE OF COURAGE, I have listened to it at least 13 times since I received it three days ago. Each listen it gets better! Not only is this the best album by Galneryus, its the best album I have heard in a long while.

Not my cup of tea, but a good album. Good moments, great musicianship, but it gets a bit tiring with so much going on all the time.

Admins: check out those two "1" ratings, it looks like a case of vote abuse and double account.

Why do the Symphonic and Power genres and so loved and well rated (each time) on this site ? I don't understand... I've got tons of friends metalheads and they are more Death/Black/Sludge than power/power/power like on this site

Oh man, I've never seen an album art/title that would scream 'POWER METAL' as hard as this one .. well, there may be a few other but those are mostly from Rhapsody.

Yeah! This is a problem, maybe a Maiden fan voted "1" to all albums released in this year to give "The Book of Souls" the "best album of 2015". Hhahahahahahaha
So sad...

You do know they are a Japanese band, right? Or are you just saying their style is reminiscent of euro power?

I am saying only about their style, which in fact is very close to many european bands

Is this a joke? I agree that the instrumentals are awesome but the voice is pooooor, i can't hear if it's Japanese or Engrish and the pronunciation for the Engrish parts are worthless. Why even try to sing in English if you can't do it properly. Am i supposed to learn Japanese as well just to understand the lyrics?

I've been listening to these guys since '07, eventually you just stop caring about the words and just listen to the voice as another instrument. Makes the whole experience enjoyable. They used to sing only in English, and I remember being turned off when they starting implementing Japanese lyrics into the songs. After a while I got used to it, and love them even more now.

Their album 'One For All - All For One' is the one that helped me to accept the Japanese vocals. Coincidentally, it's also the first album where they used the Japanese vocals.

I even like this better than their last album. A recent performance of their concert is on youtube (see link), so awesome, the singer pulls this shit off live. People listen to lyrics in metal, that must be consistently disappointing? I only notice them if they're especially good like Ne Obvliviscaris. http://metalstorm.net/bands/album.php?album_id=77056&band_id=3514&bandname=Galneryus

It's enjoyable, but it's not very original. A lot of the riffs and melodies sound really familiar.

Listening to it right now, and I must said, that I am impressed! Production is pretty good, instruments, melodies and harmonies too. One of the best power metal releases in 2015.

Heard it once and didn't catch me as much as Vetelgyus, which got me hooked by first listen. I'll need a few more spins to come with an full opinion, but I can already agree this is one of the strongest PM of 2015.

Edit: DEFINITELY the best power metal release of 2015. I thought Vetelgyus was their masterpiece, but now I don't know, so much energy here, and they manage to be a lot more progressive too. Voice of grievous cry is a beast.

Why do death and black and arghhh sludge metal get so well rated on this site? Most of my metalhead friends only listen to power or symphonic metal (and god forbid heavy metal ...).

Five years later coming back to this one I have to say that this comment really nails it, I pretty much hate power metal and I still think this album is absolutely incredible
