German viking black metal act Thrudvangar announced the departure of bassist Günther, who decided to leave the band. Günther was part of the band for 20 years, since the very beginning. Official statement from the band can be read below.

Commented by the band: "After 15 years, numerous concerts, enormous creative work and innumerable many beautiful experiences, we announce with regret that Günther - bassist, creative head and technical kass - decided to leave the band. A tough decision he made for himself. Günther, will always be part of Thrudvangar, because even if we lose a gangbanger, we keep a very good friend. We say thank you for the great time with you and may the gods accompany you on your way."
