Yay, new spaghetti western atmoblack

Seeing my old comments about their debut, this seems like a big step up, the whole Summoning with Western elements is working a lot better for me this time around

Geez... This might as well become a 10/10.

It's not often that I listen to a followup to a great gimmick and think to myself "this one is even better". Often it's more like "this one is good too, but the previous was better"

This one surpasses every bit of the first album, tho imo. There is more spaghetti western influences, the production is better, the songwriting got better. And as long as you listen to it, the record keeps surprising you more and more. Good stuff

Cool abm album in Cascadian Bm vibes as Wolves, Aggaloch, Alda, and such bands whit own ideas, lyrics and neofolk are replaced whit country music influences. I dont expect all cowboys will stop listen country and start listen bm, but this is cool. BM has chances addopt new genres and sounds, lasso it in traditional sound of BM and make it cool. Good western wibes here.

Unfortunately I didn’t like this at all. Way too overproduced and “Epic”. I should have known better when I read the Summoning comparison. Didn’t do anything to draw my attention in other than a few twangy bits, I think the country influence is a bit overstated. It’s much more synth oriented.

Darn. I was hoping to like this.

How hard is it to make an album that combines western Americana music and black metal? I'm surprised that there aren't more bands trying to achieve this. I am going to have to agree with you, I was hoping for something else and instead I got American Summoning.

I loved it. The key was to go through with zero expectations.

A massive step up from the debut imo, both in production and songwriting.

Watch out, spaghetti western black metal, native american black metal is coming for you.
