I heard something that the last Canadian hockey team won the Cup was like 14 years ago or something like that. Its pretty sad, its our sport, and we cant win at it its very sad. And we can even win at the Olympics, whats going on, the hockey players i guess are just not trying cause they get payed WAY too much.

Yes, this is an amazing time for concerts in Ontario. I just saw the Unholy Alliance Tour and it was fucking amazing. I'm seeing Behemoth in two days, Strapping Young Lad in a couple of weeks, then in a couple of months I'm seeing Cryptopsy, then Suffocation and Hypocrisy, and hopefully Blind Guardian in November.

World Cup anyone? I know not a lot of Canadians (especially metalheads) are not into the whole soccer thing, but is anyone here following it? If so who are you/were you cheering for? Personally I am cheering for Italy because of my heritage, and was cheering for England, but they are out...
So is it just me or do soccer fans act like they are on the actual teams? They always refer to the teams as "we".. Like- I think WE can pull it off and beat the Brits, or WE played a good game but they were just better... Does anyone else find this anoying... Or when the fans are distrought after "their" team loses

I have followed it here and there but I haven't actually sat down to watch an entire game the whole way through...I have been keeping myself posted here and there so I don't sound like a complete misinformed idiotstick...

I was cheering for England because one of our Canadian soccer players is on that team...everyone in the world calls him a shitty player...he's not though but they say this only because he's Canadian and the soccer community doesn't really respect Canadian soccer players for some reason...our team didn't make it to the World Cup because it sucks but that doesn't mean that he sucks...it's the team....man, I can't even remember his name at the moment...

France vs. Italy today though! Should be one helluva game!

I watched most of the World Cup games. It was definitely an awesome month. The day Italy won, the italians in our town were driving down the streets with their flags, cheering and what not. People were standing outside their houses cheering and so on. It was pretty cool.

yeah, but keep in mind that canada was only 2 points away from making into the cup. so 2 points is really nothing. and on top of that, the government decided to make someting like 5 soccer stadiums around canada by 2008. that gives the canadian soccer team a few years to get their act together and work for the 2010 world cup

using audicity, everything becomes much easier. you can even do like multi tracks. like do lead and rhythm guitars and other stuff all at the same time with it.
