I've recently lost my precious grandmother at the remarkable age of 103 after a long illness. Sharing this with you is my way of honoring an extraordinary and rare life. She touched many lives that I got to see when they all came to her funeral. She was a living witness to history, having endured the trials of World War II, witnessed the independence of India, and seen a world transformed by technology and progress.

She holds a very special place in my heart, a beacon of love and tradition. My visits to India were always centered around her, and now, with her passing, that purpose feels heartbreakingly adrift. She filled my childhood and visits with the warmth of her presence and the unforgettable flavors of her lovingly prepared Indian dishes - all now will be dearly missed.

It’s deeply sorrowful to bid her farewell and will be laid to rest with the sacred Hindu rituals.

Sorry for your loss, Cynic. She sounded like a lovely woman. I'm happy that you have such nice memories of her. She lives on in you and your memories.

My grandad died about a month ago age 98. Can't say I have the same nice memory's. Classic show no feelings and drink up your beer and whiskey until the day he died. No funeral straight to the crematorium like he wanted.

Thanks, yeah getting to 98 still drinking everyday is a bloody good innings.

Coincidentally, my grandfather died last week at 99. Though he didn't drink like yours seems to have, no one.

I'm a cold man mental disorder shit but I do have kind hearted even with killer dangerous nature. But I'm more of bad ass bad boy than bad guy. I love children and animal or actually i never hurt children. The video is like me I don't turn bitter to life or different ppl. The video too beautiful, sadly I can't find the real vocalist.

A week ago, I injured my back. This morning, the pain was much worse than before. I could barely get out of bed. I received an MRI. It appears my spine isn’t in great shape, though surgery isn’t immediately necessary. Painkillers are what I am having for dinner right now. The physical deterioration aspect of my midlife crisis has commenced.

Yes it got printed in "Parallel Processing and Applied Mathematics: 11th International Conference, PPAM 2015 " under name "Sparse Matrix Multiplication on Dataflow Engines".
So, my diploma thesis on bachelor studies got turned into full paper because I had to invent my own chip architecture to do it.

Funnily enough a year later my take home assignment in cryptography got printed in conference paper as well. Not bad for 30 minutes of work.

And all I wanted to do is to finish my master studies for the paper to get better job.

Turned out I was kinda smart back then.

Hell no, I did it to get master's degree so that I can increase my salary prospects.

Spent quite alot of time in these forums when I was a teenager, nice to see that it's still up and running. Looking back, I see that it's over 20 years since I registered, where did the time go?
