Corrosion Of Conformity - In The Arms Of God

Super album, and in my opinion the band's best. Some of the solos here really rip through and the riffs are complementary, thundering alongside the bass and drum work. The title track is one furious masterpiece, and ends the album in fine fashion.

Just popped this one in for the first time in years and remembered how much I like it. Never turns to more and Dirty Hands Empty Pockets are the highlights for me. Goes great with a good beer and a smoke.

I wouldn't call this their best album but it's still a solid one and staple for the Southern metal scene. The drum work is particularly great and "Never Turns To More" and "Stonebreaker" are definitely the highlights.
