nope, you're not. I agree with you. If this was their usual double album it would have been stronger.

Let's just pretend that they forgot to make it a double album with Metamorphogenesis.

At least the good part is that no one complains that their albums are too long and boring

This was the first album I listened to by Esoteric so I love it. I like how the melodies are rounded out from that ridiculously well done low end. There are some really cool details to hear in this album. Perspectively i'd say The Maniacal Vail was when the they really blasted off into the mental infinite and this album was when that threshold was being crossed.

One of the best Esoteric albums! An absolute classic.

Esoteric's simplest album. Still amazing.

Yeah, it's "bread and butter" Esoteric. One band's most "basic" album is better than most bands' "magnum opus" though.
