Let me preface this saying I like early Periphery, Within the Ruins, and After the Burial. This is not that. Guitar is definitely on the dumb, binary chugs at times, but is also capable of infusing some interesting melodies. Clean vocals are pretty shitty, as in off-key and unintentionally corny. Not to mention the obligatory "Let's GO!!!" moments. I do like the occasional use of symphonic elements, but they aren't really enough to earn the tag of "symphonic djent" imo. Nothing new at all. There is some potential here, but I don't see it venturing outside of the box they have put themselves in. Enjoyability=6 Musicianship=7 Innovation=4 Overall=5.5
