This album should come with a little tag saying "Warning: this album may cause severe neck trauma and dark laughs"; Gloom is a mixture between ultra-fast aggression with insanely dark humor; the music is really catchy and violent at the same time, then the lyrical content is oddly humorous, this is more o less like Nelson Muntz singing "Joy to the world the teacher's dead?" to Lisa Simpson, just imagine that Character singing the exact same song (about how they flushed the teacher's severed head down the putty), then add awesome riffs, catchy and complex Drum-beats, impressive bass-lines, some guitar solos, and finally add shrieked/guttural/clean vocals; that's a glimpse of what Gloom sounds like, that's incredibly overwhelming in my books.
