Performance wise it's not as wild and crazy as the debut. It's way more riff based with a more straight forward rythm section. That's not a bad thing though, Elegy was at their peak song-writing wise here, all the songs here have a instant memorability about them and even if I heard this one countless times I still find new stuff to love here. Power/prog doesn't get much better than this.
