The Great Old Ones - New Song Online, New Album In 2017

The follow-up to Tekeli-Li is coming. French Lovecraftian black metallers The Great Old Ones just announced that they will release a new album titled EOD : A Tale Of Dark Legacy through Season Of Mist on January 27th, 2017. The cover artwork has been created by Jeff Grimal. Check it out below in all its details where you also find the album tracklist. But there is more good news. One of the brand new songs, "The Shadow Over Innsmouth", is streaming now here.

The band commented: "We think that the song 'The Shadow Over Innsmouth' stands for all that we wanted to achieve with this record: it is powerful, violent, epic, and of course heavily atmospheric and emotion driven. In the context of our conceptual story, this chapter tells of the arrival of the protagonist in the eponymous infamous city. He is gazing over the derelict harbour and remembering the frightening journal of his ancestor, he knows that nothing will ever be the same again."
