American stoners Moab just lost the band's drummer Erik Herzog. The band has been recording a new album to follow their latest Billow (2014) but now faces a huge loss.

The band wrote on Facebook: "Moab lost it's heart beat yesterday and I lost my friend. This is the last video I have of him. A couple weeks ago, doing exactly what he was so good at...adding layers to recordings that make them magic. RIP Erik Herzog. Can't believe it."
