There's certainly No Dawn For The Caliginous Night when it comes to Convocation's latest output, but then what better way is there to mark your ten-year anniversary than to celebrate with something so grim, doomy, depressive, and of course, heavy.

These guys are top-tier extreme doom; the sound is dense, the riffs are really sinister, but it still feels natural when it goes more melodic, sorrowful and textured in the closing stages of Lepers And Derelicts

It's a nice album, it has a great tone and such a dense soundscape. The growls/screams are impressively performed, and I also think the violin adds an occasional nice melancholic touch aswel.
