Entering the 2020s, Amorphis weren’t necessarily the band from which I was expecting to see multiple members break out as solo artists, but evidently their star guitar duo had other ideas.

On first listen, I think I'm gonna have to give the 'best solo debut album from an Amorphis guitarist' to Esa Holopainan's Silver Lake - this album is just too inconsistent in comparison for me. Some great moments, but also some mediocre ones, and the different styles don't go together nearly as well as they did on Silver Lake

I liked tracks 6 and 7 best here, but as a whole it’s all over the place and some songs work well while others could be forgotten as soon as they end
