Hmm, the title track on their Myspace isn't filling me with a lot of confidence in the direction of this album. It sounds almost poppy, really. Here's hoping it's the weak track from the album because I really like their first two. They're fantastic live, too.

i feel the same way, personally, i think "From Your Grave" will stay their best record. hopefully it's good, but you're right about Enemy Unbound.

Definitely not as strong as either From Your Grave or Riders of the Plague, and the title track is one of the weaker ones. Overall the music has a little less edge to it, though Jamie's growls remain top notch. "Maelstorm" and "Wartorn" are highlights for me.

An "overrated" 7. Compared to the previous two albums it's weaker. I can even imagine some parts being remixed with Gaga on youtube ;p

Agreed. If I could give decimal ratings for album votes (which I would really like to be able to do), this would be getting a 6.5. It is essentially an average album with a couple good tracks.

Extreme average and unexciting album. I was truly hoping for something epic as their last two were imo genre defining albums. Very weak and I can't say that I am less then annoyed and pissed.

Well,i agree that this seems to be a weaker album than the other 2.though,i must say that it was difficult to maintain the same quality.(this is not an excuse,because the have quality do to so),at first earing i was disappointed it enemy unbound.but as i am listening more this CD i begin to get more and more satisfied.am i the only one? :S no prob

Never been a fan of the band to begin with, but their previous releases at least had a few stand-out tracks. Nothing interesting here.

I prefer this to their last album. I especially like the tracks 'Deepest Wound' and 'Vengeance and Victory'. The only gripe I have is the silence on the last track, pointless. They should have just kept it to 2 minutes long.

The second half of the album is really boring. The first half is more than good though imo
