Before reading any further - people, please remember to keep your brains inside your skulls and please remember a little word called "perspective". UnSun is a really melodic, accessible, and somewhat poppy sounding band. If you're expecting to hear a Gorguts tribute album while listening to an album called Clinic For Dolls, then there is seriously something wrong with you. With that said, let's move on, shall we?

Ok, this band is very fun to listen to. And this is an enjoyable album. But, this album can not be considered gothic metal, let alone metal. I hope their next album would be a lot heavier and I hope they would get rid of the poppy side of their songs.
On the brightside, they improved their songwriting, a lot.

I've only heard the songs that they posted and its definitely still metal. Still has guitar solos (although they are rather brief) and it is still very heavy. Yes, home is a very poppy song, but the others don't seem to be the same way. Not Enough is really nice, I like it a lot!

I don't know, it sounds like rock to me. Definitely heavier and way better than their debut, though.

But anyways, genres aren't much of a big deal. This album is very very enjoyable.

Well most of gothic/ symophonic bands have a poppy sound in their music, it's can't be ditched

After giving a it a few listens, i'd put it right on par with their last album for pretty much the exact same reasons, haha. There are lots of great songs on it, but at the same time, also lots of fillers and mediocre tracks. Stand out tracks: Mockers, Not Enough and Time

True, her voice is really unusual. But it's that unorthodox way she delivers the vocals (plus the amazing guitar melodies) that makes this band what it is. I can't imagine it being as fun to listen to if the singer had a voice any different than the one present.
