One of those albums I really wouldn't want to miss one second of, Blood Ceremony's debut is near enough a classic. Combining the pyschedelic and folk melodies of Jethro Tull and other 60's bands alike, as well as the truly heavy riffage and otherworldly soundscapes such as Gong and Hawkwind, 'Blood Ceremony' should really have been released four decades ago. Nonetheless, it still stands up as a milestone in current underground metal...
